Babies are birthed, the elderly pass. Life goes on. What could possibly save a soul from mundane and insignificant existence?
That’s what the Everyday Rebelles have asked themselves. The only answer is to give something all you have left in you at the end of the day.
So go to your 9-5, your midnight shift. Raise your children, contribute to society. What you do in your spare time is your safe haven. The Everyday Rebelles, however, choose no safe place.
Meeting in a dark, dank basement they arrive as disgruntled office workers, from a day of work in sterile offices with little reward. Ties are loosened, shirts unbuttoned, skates are laced and chaos ensues.
For these women, an act of rebellion is what gives life its spark. Even if it is just a little everyday.
The Everyday Rebelles fell sporadically into place amongst the Grand Raggidy Roller Girls, where they battle against The Blue Collar Broads and The Roustabout Rollers. Every hit is a breath of fresh air, every point scored ignored. Besides, who wants to crunch numbers for another hour of their lives. It’s the fight that counts. And that, my friends, is what the Everyday Rebelles do best.
